Fantastika 2024 is an SF convention that will take place in Dieselverkstaden in Sickla near the center of Stockholm on November 1-3, 2024. The venue has been used for SF conventions in 2013, 2016, 2018, and 2021, and our goal is about the same type of convention. There will be programme on Friday 17.00 – 22.00, on Saturday 10.00 – 22.00, and on Sunday 10.00 – 17.00. After Closing on Sunday there will be a Dead Dog Party. We intend to have at least one English programme at all times.
Guests of Honour are Juliet E. McKenna, T. L. (Tendai) Huchu, Lena Karlin and Åsa Schwarz.

At Swecon 2023 (Konflikt), that was also Eurocon 2023, it was decided that Fantastika 2024 will be Swecon 2024.
Work on the programme is ongoing. Would you like to be part of the programme or would you like to see which programme items we are working on? If you are a member you can do that by login to https://planz.fantastika2024.com. There you can edit your information, register your interest in participating in programme items and suggest programme items. The first time you log in you will need to create an account. Do so by first entering your email address and then clicking on ”forgot your password”. You are welcome to register your interest in participating in multiple programme items. However, a declaration of interest is not a guarantee that you will be included in them.

Membership
The membership fee is SEK 400 or corresponding in EURO, GBP or USD when pre-registering no later than October 28, 2024.
Youth membership: If you have not yet turned 26 when the convention starts, your membership is free, provided that you register in advance (on October 28, 2024, at the latest).
Children: Members below 12 years of age do not have to pay a membership fee.

Prices at the door: Whole weekend 500 SEK (below 26 years of age 400 SEK), Friday 150 SEK, Saturday 300 SEK, Sunday 150 SEK. We acceot Swish, Vipps, and cash, but unfortunately not payment by card.

Find your way to Dieselverkstaden by public transport
There are ongoing infrastructure constructions both close to the venue and at the major public transport hub Slussen. This means that bus and tram stops have temporary locations, making the walking distances longer. Taking the tram would save you some walking distance, but it isn’t quite as frequent as the buses.
Tram (Tvärbanan)
You take the tram Tvärbanan towards Sickla. If you come from the city you can take the metro to Gullmarsplan and change to the tram there. The end station in Sickla is temporarily moved back a few hundred meters to Uddvägen. From there you follow the signs for Sickla köpkvarter until you see our signs for Fantastika.
Busses from Slussen
You will probably get to Slussen by metro. The bus terminal is currently located several hundred meters from the metro station; follow the signs for buses towards Nacka / Värmdö. You can take all buses leaving from the platforms G, H and I, i.e. the buses numbered 409 to 422. You get off at the stop Sickla Västra. Close to the stop you will find a map over the area, where you will see Dieselverkstaden. You start the walk by following the signs for Sickla köpkvarter. Alternatively, you take bus 401 from platform F at the Slussen terminal and get off at Sickla Allé, see the picture.
Parking
If you’re staying at a hotel we recommend that you park there. There is paid parking in the square outside Dieselverkstaden, in the round parking house across the square and in the shopping centre.
