Convention rules-Code of Conduct

A convention should be a nice and safe event for all its members.

Discussions and conversations where opinions differ are natural parts of a convention but we assume that everyone will behave in a nice way and with respect to others.

Violence, threats, harassments, aggressivity or ruthless behaviour will not be accepted.

The convention committee reserves the right to determine what behaviour is acceptable.

In case of unacceptable behaviour the committee can take actions reaching from a reprimand to exclusion from the convention without refund of the membership fee.

On the premises, the convention badge must be worn at all times. If you lose your badge, we will print a new one for you for a fee at Registration.

Contact a member of the committee if you or someone else encounters something that the committee should know about or address. Committee members wear colored ribbons over their clothes. Usually you can meet one of them in the Green room/Gopher hole on the upper floor (at Dieselverkstaden the name of the room is Atlas-Kalle’s Studio).f.

No weapons are allowed. Weapons are defined as tools with a sharp edge, point, that can send projectiles or by their size and weight can injure others.

Toys and replicas are okay if it’s impossible to mistake them for real weapons. If in doubt, contact the registration or a member of the committee

Smoking is not allowed in the venue. Alcohol bought at the bar may not be consumed outdoors. You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol.

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of support animals.

Always follow instructions given by committee members, gophers and Dieselverstaden’s staff.

Microphones must always be used in the programme rooms.
